FIRE

The use of fire is spread throughout history. It all started when lightning produced the first fire. The first user was the Peking Man, about 500,000 BC. It was not until around 7000 BC the Neolithic man acquired techniques of making fire. Yet it was more convenient to keep the fire permanent reinflamá it.

The importance of fire in the ancient world is emphasized by the sacred fire in many religious rituals and myths, like that of Prometheus. The myth says that Prometheus stole fire from the gods and gave it to man.
